Licensing Manager:

Primitive continues to expand its brand collaborations and product licensing opportunities and as a result of that the company is looking to bring in a Licensing Manager to own all existing opportunities as well as participate in scouting out and uncovering new opportunities.

Responsibilities:

• Liaison with current licensing partners including but not limited to Hasbro, Kikkoman, Toei, Huy Fong Foods, Cartoon Network, Marvel and many more.
• Coordination of product timelines, marketing timelines, and strategic initiatives with each partner.
• Coordination and negotiation with prospective partners on royalty rates and contractual terms.
• Coordination of product approvals, sample approvals, and category development.
• Liaison w/ accounting department and licensing partners on royalty schedules and calculations.
• Research and outreach for new licensing opportunities with relevant brands and properties.
• Will report directly to our Chief Creative Officer and CEO.

Requirements:

• 5+ years experience in a similar role
• Advanced knowledge of skate / lifestyle-driven industries as well as licensing industry
• Excellent communication skills
• Natural ability to hunt out new opportunities
• Excellent management of time and people
• Proven ability to grow business.
