We are currently seeking an experience psychiatrist to work as the principal investigator on industry sponsored clinical research trials. This is a great opportunity to integrate a brand new psychiatry focused research clinic within an establish medical office in Atlanta! For this role we are seeking a board certified psychiatrist with at least 5 years of clinical experience, previous clinical research experience is preferred but not required as we are able to train someone eager to get into this exciting field!
This is a full time (30+ hours/week) onsite opportunity, part time candidates may also be considered.

Key Duties
• Serve as the Principal Investigator for industry-sponsored psychiatry and mental health clinical trials
• Perform psychiatric evaluations and assessments for study participants
• Oversee the implementation of clinical trial protocols and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines (FDA, GCP, etc.)
• Review and approve study-related documentation, including informed consent forms and medical histories
• Monitor participant safety and address adverse events in collaboration with the research team
• Collaborate with sponsors, CROs, and internal teams to ensure study goals and timelines are met
• Provide medical oversight to research staff, including study coordinators and other clinical personnel
• Stay updated on advancements in psychiatry and contribute to the development of new clinical trial opportunities
Requirements
• MD or DO with board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry
• Active medical license in the state where the clinical research site is located
• Clinical experience in psychiatry; experience with clinical trials is a plus but not required
• Strong understanding of psychopharmacology and psychiatric diagnostics
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Commitment to ethical research practices and patient care
