Our client outside of Raleigh, NC is looking to add a CAD Drafter to their team for a 3-6 month contract opportunity. This position is an entry level role looking for individuals who have 0-3 years of experience or relevant internships in technical drafting. We are looking for people who have great CAD/AutoCAD and Solidworks skills. You will work to create detailed drawings and layouts for the facility, electrical systems and mechanical systems. Responsibilities:

Produce precise CAD drawings based on hand sketches, verbal instructions, and site visits.

Integrate and detail subsystem components within overall design layouts seamlessly.

Maintain and update documentation for all drafted drawings to reflect changes and additions.

Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards, health, and safety protocols.

Collaborate with engineers and drafters to interpret outlines and specifications accurately.

Participate in team meetings and provide regular updates on drafting progress.

Revise and correct existing drawings as requested by the engineering team.

Log and organize all versions of project documentation for auditing purposes.

Assist in researching new materials and development methods.

Manage and maintain a library of design resources.

Ensure all drawings meet relevant standards and codes for data center operations.
