Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Raw Materials Specialist to join our team in Manhattan, NY. As an individual contributor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of colors and fabrics across garments and components, contributing to the exceptional standards of our brand.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the quality and consistency of colors and fabrics, ensuring final product excellence.
• Assist in the technical development, pre-production, and cataloguing of all fabrics and colors through the production lifecycle.
• Conduct regular visits to company stores to evaluate the quality and consistency of fabrics and colors under various store lighting conditions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on quality and material standards.
• Provide guidance to the Assistant Textile Technologist.

Reporting Structure:

• Reports to the Manager of Textile Technology.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in technical education or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in fabric and color development, preferably in a retail or apparel setting.
• Proficiency in Excel, Centric, PowerPoint, and Adobe Suite .
