Job Summary:

Process Engineer for a leading manufacturing company based near Versailles, KY. This role is responsible to evaluate current manufacturing practices and identify opportunities for improvement, including cost reduction, throughput increase, and workflow efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field
• Must have at least three (3) years in process engineering experience
• Experience in an automotive manufacturing environment
• Proficient in writing work instructions/SOP's
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Costing experience

Preferred:

• Lean Six Sigma experience

Location: Versailles, Kentucky

Job type: Permanent

Salary: $80,000 - 90,000 per year

Work hours: 8am to 4pm

Responsibilities:

• Develop, optimize and oversee manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs and ensure high-quality production
• Conducting process analysis and implementing improvements for manufacturing
• Evaluate current manufacturing practices and identify opportunities for improvement, including cost reduction, throughput increase, and workflow efficiency
• Perform value stream mapping, time studies, capacity analysis, layout/production flow analysis, and document standard work
• Develop solutions, including the design and implementation of Lean Manufacturing principles, to improve operational efficiencies
• Drive the projects to increase productivity, reduce lead-time, improve quality, and cost savings
