Salary: $75,000 - $90,000
Our client, a well-established and rapidly growing national food manufacturing firm, is seeking an experienced Sanitation Manager to oversee the sanitation team and ensure full plant compliance with sanitation and cleaning standards, food safety regulations, and personnel safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the sanitation team to maintain a clean and safe production environment.
- Ensure compliance with USDA, FDA, and GFSI sanitation requirements.
- Develop and implement sanitation procedures, including HACCP and PCQI protocols.
- Conduct regular titration, ATP testing, and listeria testing to monitor and maintain sanitation effectiveness.
- Collaborate with chemical suppliers to ensure proper use of cleaning agents.
- Maintain documentation and records related to sanitation programs and regulatory compliance.
- Train and develop team members on sanitation best practices and safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in sanitation management within a food manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
- USDA experience is required.
- Experience with GFSI and FDA regulations is preferred.
- HACCP and PCQI certifications are preferred.
- Strong knowledge of titration, ATP testing, chemical suppliers, and listeria testing.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
