Job Overview: As our Jr Designer, you will be part of our team creating space plans, design and construction documents, renderings, while preforming project management, sourcing selections, and coordinating installations for new construction, remodeling, and interior design projects. The successful candidate will need to be extremely organized, a born multi-tasker, strong detail-orientation with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities and Duties: We are a dedicated team looking for a creative talent to help us grow!

  • Participate with Principals project site visits, documenting design scopes, measurements, and helping to prepare design presentations, proposals, and drawings.
  • Creating drawings and renderings with AutoCAD and SketchUp floor plans, furnishing plans and sourcing for custom interiors for design and construction.
  • Assist in bidding, pricing, resourcing furniture, fixtures, fabrics, and finishes using Excel.
  • Ordering furnishings and materials, coordinating deliveries, picking up samples/materials, and ensuring materials are received per design intent.
  • Coordinating work schedules and communications with trades and design build partners.
  • Managing office library, client files, keeping computer files organized and up to date.
  • Developing a keen understanding of our firm’s process and unique value proposition.
  • Active in continued education with industry products, technologies, and networking.
  • Providing excellent verbal and written communications internally with the team, with trade partners and directly with clients.


Qualifications and Skills for Success:

  • Minimum 2+ years full-time experience working in a residential design firm.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture and/or Construction or similar.
  • Computer skills with a solid working knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe, Canva, Microsoft Excel, and QuickBooks a plus.
  • A proven ability to read and understand design documents and construction drawings.
  • Working knowledge of design trade resources, furnishings, and fabrics.
  • A strong work ethic with an attention to detail to follow through.
  • Highly organized with excellent time management and priority setting skills.
  • A positive attitude, creative spirit, and a team player.
  • Experience with both MAC and PC.
  • Required having a working vehicle for office & client-related meetings.
