As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a Network Operations Intern to join our NetOps team for Spring 2025 . The Intern will have an opportunity to gain hands-on experience by working directly with our teams, not for them.
The Intern will also spend the spring on an individual project customized to their specific skill set which they’ll present to our Tech Leadership team at the end of the program. Details of the projects and timeline will be laid out by supervisors at the beginning of the program.
The Intern will be responsible for fulfilling tasks set out by supervisors from the specific department they’re working in, including but not limited to:
- Use Python, Shell scripting, Ansible, and/or Terraform to automate simple networking and administrative tasks.
- Leveraging generative AI to help identify potential network issues.
- Consult with client stakeholders on strategies for deployment of new network implementations, monitoring, and optimization of existing equipment.
- Configure, support, and maintain on-premises networks in addition to cloud environments.
- Support projects along all lines of the business as part of corporate NetOps team.

- Able to commit to a part-time (20 hours per week) work schedule between Feb 24, 2025 – May 2, 2025
- Understanding of the OSI model
- Wi-Fi hands-on configuration knowledge
- Working knowledge of internet networking technologies (TCP/IP, routing, switching) and optical transport technologies
- Above and beyond troubleshooting skill
- Proficient in at least one of the following: Python, Ansible, or Terraform
- Experience configuring servers – bare metal, virtual, and cloud
- Understanding network flows, firewall rules, network captures, and diagrams
- Experience with Linux, MacOS, and Windows operating systems
- Self-motivated with a desire to learn from a rapidly growing company
- Confident to take initiative and collaborate with teammates
