We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Account Manager to join our Engineering team. This exciting role is perfect for a seasoned professional with a proven track record in managing complex engineering projects, driving customer satisfaction, and delivering exceptional results. You will be responsible for managing key client projects, ensuring the delivery of solutions that meet the clients' needs and objectives, and fostering long-term client relationships. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, manage cross-functional teams, and drive business growth.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage key client accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and long-term relationship building.
2. Oversee the successful delivery of engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, and manufacturing, to deliver tailored solutions that meet clients' needs and objectives.
4. Provide sales support, including estimating project costs, preparing proposals, and negotiating contracts.
5. Utilize Engineering to Order and Custom Manufacturing processes to deliver bespoke solutions.
6. Leverage ERP systems to streamline order management and project delivery processes.
7. Develop and implement project plans, risk management plans, and project schedules.
8. Proactively identify and resolve project issues and conflicts, ensuring minimal disruption to project delivery.
9. Provide regular project updates to stakeholders, including clients, management, and project teams.
10. Continually review and improve project management processes and methodologies to drive efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

1. Associate Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the engineering industry.
3. Proven experience in account management, with a track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships.
4. Strong understanding of engineering processes, including Engineering to Order and Custom Manufacturing.
5. Proficient in using ERP systems for order management and project delivery.
6. Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
7. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
8. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and resolve issues proactively.
9. Proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
10. Experience in the manufacturing sector would be a distinct advantage.
11. Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) would be highly desirable.
