POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Lead product development by spearheading the development and execution of product strategies aligned with our company’s goals. Facilitate cross-functional team collaboration, guiding teams through the entire product lifecycle, and ensuring successful product launches. Develop product roadmaps and build out both internal and external communication plans to ensure product launch success. Drive innovation, analyze market trends, and influence the growth of our business within the market.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic Product Planning:
- Define and execute the product strategy aligned with company goals.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for product growth and innovation.
Cross-Functional Leadership:
- Collaborate with engineering, design, and marketing teams to ensure product success.
- Provide clear direction and leadership to cross-functional teams throughout the product lifecycle.
Product Roadmap Development:
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap.
- Prioritize features and enhancements based on market needs and business priorities.
Stakeholder Communication:
- Communicate product vision and updates effectively to internal and external stakeholders.
- Gather feedback from customers and end users to drive innovation and product improvements.
Market Analysis:
- Analyze market trends, competition, and end user feedback to inform product decisions.
- Identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation in the market.
Product Launch and Go-To-Market Strategy:
- Lead the successful launch of new products, coordinating with various teams.
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies to drive product adoption and success.
Budget Management:
- Manage the product budget effectively, ensuring resources are allocated optimally.
- Make data-driven decisions to maximize ROI and achieve financial goals.
Product Lifecycle Management:
- Oversee the entire product lifecycle from concept to retirement.
- Implement strategies to extend the life and profitability of existing products.
Data-Driven Decision Making:
- Utilize data and analytics to make informed decisions and measure product success.
- Implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and improve product performance.
Travelling Product Expert:
- Extensive, in-depth market and industry knowledge of the hand tools category.
- Excellent presentation skills to assist with high level key account presentations and pitches.
