Title: Human Resources Advisor - IMMEDIATE HIRE

Location: San Francisco

Employment Type: 6-Month Contract

Compensation: $90-120k base ($43-57/hour)


Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic Human Resources Advisor with a strong background understanding in tech to join our team on a 6-month contract, with the possibility of transitioning into a permanent position. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in fostering a supportive and high-performing culture, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and partnering with leadership to drive HR initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • HR Strategy & Operations:
  • Support the development and execution of HR strategies that align with business goals.
  • Collaborate with leadership to address workforce planning, talent acquisition, and retention strategies.
  • Employee Relations:
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee queries, ensuring timely and confidential resolution.
  • Manage complex employee relations cases, providing expert guidance to managers.
  • Talent Management:
  • Assist in identifying development opportunities and implementing training programs tailored to tech professionals.
  • Support performance management processes, including reviews, feedback, and career development discussions.
  • HR Compliance:
  • Ensure policies and practices align with local and international employment laws.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and provide data insights to inform decision-making.
  • Culture & Engagement:
  • Promote an inclusive and collaborative workplace culture that reflects company values.
  • Lead initiatives that enhance employee engagement and well-being.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an HR professional, ideally within the tech or fintech sector.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, confidential, and rapidly changing environment.
  • Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certification (e.g., CIPD, SHRM) is a plus.
