Responsibilities:
- Create detailed test plans, scenarios, and scripts for both functional and non-functional testing
- Develop automated test solutions for complex embedded systems, including HIL and SIL testing
- Run tests, analyze results, debug issues, and work with developers to resolve defects
- Conduct tests to check system performance under various conditions
- Ensure software components interact correctly when integrated
- Write and maintain documentation for test cases, procedures, and results
- Assess new testing tools or methodologies to improve test coverage and efficiency
- Participate in code and design reviews from a testing perspective to ensure testability
- Refine testing processes, methodologies, and tools based on feedback and lessons learned
Qualifications:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, etc. or the equivalent in experience with evidence of exceptional ability
- Proven record in developing HIL/SIL automated test systems.
- Proficiency in at least one testing framework for embedded systems.
- Skills in scripting for automation (e.g., Python).
- Strong scripting skills in C/C++ for writing test code.
- Experience with hardware interfaces and protocols (SPI, I2C, RS232, CAN, etc.).
- Knowledge of microcontrollers and embedded processors.
- Familiarity with real-time systems and their constraints.
- Ability to use and configure test equipment like oscilloscopes, multimeters, and logic analyzers.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 20% including internationally
- Excellent written and verbal communications in English
