Family Medicine Physician for Urgent Care in Los Angeles
Position Title: Urgent Care Staff Physician
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Employment Type: Part-time (6 shifts per month)
Salary: $150/hourly plus Malpractice with Tail
Position Overview:
Accelerated Urgent Care has been voted "Best Urgent Care" eight years in a row in Bakersfield, CA. We currently have 18 clinics located throughout Southern and Central California to serve all your urgent care needs. We are hiring a part-time Urgent Care Staff Physician for our newest Los Angeles, CA (Century City) location.
Key Responsibilities:

• Urgent Care Medicine, practicing twelve-hour (12) shifts with a 1-hour break.
• Part-time will be 6-8 monthly shifts, 2 on-call shifts, and managing 4 mid-level providers.
• Treat 4 patients per hour from newborns to geriatrics (full spectrum care) in a low-acuity setting.
• Bread & Butter Procedures: I&Ds, Toenail Removal, and Laceration Repair.
• Equipment: In-house Point-of-Care testing and X-ray. All X-rays are over-read by a Board-Certified Radiologist with results available within 20 minutes for routine orders.
• Easy-to-use EMR: VelociDoc with Dragon dictation, document patients in 1 minute.

Qualifications:

• Medical Degree (M.D. or D.O)
• Completion of a formal Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine Residency Training Program
• Truly Board-Eligible or Board-Certified
• CA Medical License that is active and in good standing
• DEA Certificate

Pay Range: $150 per hour
