The Colorado Community College System (CCCS) is hiring a Business Services Manager to join our Workforce Solutions team within Academic & Student Affairs. We're looking for someone who has excellent relationship building skills and is comfortable working with budgets and financial tracking. NOTE: This position is term-limited and is funded through 12/31/2026.
Examples of Duties
In this position you will provide fiscal and operational leadership and support for Workforce Solutions grants and other funding streams, including federal, state, and private funding sources. You will also be responsible for all financial and operational support of grant program compliance, including budget tracking and reconciliation, report management, and other day-to-day operations.
  • Process distributions and reimbursements to Institutions of Higher Education (IHEs) and/or subrecipients, including invoice review and monitoring of expenditures.
  • Interpret federal and state regulations (including Uniform Grant Guidance) to determine expense allowability.
  • Manage budgeting and data management functions, including collaborating with fiscal and program teams to gather necessary data for reporting.
  • In collaboration with the Grants Director and the CCCS Workforce Solutions team, provide coordination and day-to-day administration of federal, state, and private grant funds, ensuring compliance with all legal, regulatory, and organizational policies related to grant funding.
  • Co-develop and maintain grant technical assistance, training, and communications (application and reporting forms, policies and procedures, fact sheets, website content, guides/manuals, etc.).
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent combination of education and/or grant management experience.
  • Two years of experience in all stages of grant management, inclusive of evaluation, contracting, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, compliance, and close-out.
  • Project/program management experience.
  • Experience with qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis.
