Sr. Java Developer:
On behalf of our technology client, Procom is searching for a Sr. Java Developer for a 12-month contract. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client's Cary, NC office.

Sr. Java Developer - Job Description:
This role involves working on a critical project focused on enhancing and maintaining existing Java-based applications while integrating cloud solutions. The position requires a balance of hands-on development and leadership, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions.
Sr. Java Developer - Responsibilities:
•Develop and maintain Java/J2EE applications
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable solutions
•Implement and manage cloud-based services and containerized applications
•Lead code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers
•Troubleshoot and resolve production issues efficiently
•Ensure adherence to Agile methodologies and best practices
Sr. Java Developer - Mandatory Skills:
•7+ years in Java/J2EE web development
•Proficiency in Angular and Spring MVC
•Expertise with Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, or ORM frameworks
•Experience with SOAP/REST Web Services and MQ technologies
•Strong grasp of front-end, middle-tier, and backend technologies
•Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
•Familiarity with AWS services
Sr. Java Developer - Nice-to-Have Skills:
•AWS Developer or Solutions Architect certification
•Experience with Tomcat servers
•Strong communication and teamwork skills
•Experience in mentoring junior developers
•Problem-solving capabilities
Sr. Java Developer - Assignment Length:
This is a 12-month contract position.
