Our client a major Life Sciences company is seeking a software engineer with LIMS experience to support ongoing projects. This position is a long-term contract basis.

Job Title: Software Engineer / LIMS

Responsibilities:

• Assist with ticket resolution and solutions as part of SDLC implementation.
• Collaborate with consultants on configurations, builds, and development.
• Enhance workflows and systems for optimization and user needs.
• Report progress and challenges to management.
• Use Java and JavaScript for LabVantage solutions.
• Utilize GitHub and JIRA for task collaboration.
• Train users on new processes and system improvements.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of LIMS LabVantage v8 experience.
• 3+ years of system development (Java, JavaScript, VBScript).
• Located in US or Canada.
• Experience with containers, GitHub, JIRA, and complex configurations.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Eagerness to learn new technologies and processes.
• Genomics workflow expertise is a plus.
