Job Summary:
We are hiring an Associate Med Tech I (MLT) to join our team in Birmingham, AL. This position is a 13-week contract with the opportunity to extend, offering a chance to gain valuable experience working in a core lab environment. The role will focus on hematology, urines, and coagulation, utilizing equipment such as Beckman Coulter DXH, Iris, and Stago for body fluid analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform laboratory tests in hematology, urine testing, and coagulation.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment including Beckman Coulter DXH, Iris, and Stago.
- Perform CBC and differential testing.
- Assist in the analysis of body fluids and provide accurate results.
- Follow safety and quality protocols to ensure compliance.
- Assist the lab team during this temporary coverage period while providing high-quality support to lab operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- MLT certification required.
- Strong knowledge in hematology, CBC, and urine testing.

- Location: Birmingham, AL
- Job Type: 13 weeks Contract
- Shifts: 1st Shift (Mon - Fri, Every third weekend, 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM)
- Pay Range : $700-$800 Weekly
