Behavioral health clinician for the Police Diversion Program, to provide case management and treatment enrollment for individuals referred by Delaware State Police staff.

The team receives referrals from State Police Troopers for individuals who have demonstrated mental health and/or substance use disorder, including potential drug overdose. The teams work to help referred individuals enroll in treatment and other services to ensure better functioning.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s or bachelor’s Degree in behavioral science, counseling and similar.
• Experience with substance use and mental health counseling and case management.
• Ability to work with and alongside law enforcement agencies.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to work well in crisis.
