Title : Certified Medical Assistant

Location : Midland Park, NJ 07432

Shift : Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 17:30)

Duration : 13-Weeks Contract

Pay Range : $25- $31/hr

Required:

• Must have CMA certification from: AAMA, AMT, AMCA, NCCT, NHA Adult outpatient experience

Job Duties:

• Assisting physicians with patient exams, procedures, and treatments.
• Taking patient medical histories, recording vital signs (like blood pressure, pulse, temperature), and updating patient records.
• Collecting and preparing laboratory specimens, performing basic laboratory tests, and sending samples to labs for analysis.
• Managing patient appointments, scheduling, billing, and coding for insurance purposes.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHRs), ensuring confidentiality and compliance with healthcare laws and regulations.
• Explaining procedures, treatments, and medications to patients, offering support and answering any questions.
