Job Title: Entry-Level Member Service Representative
Compensation: $19 - $20/hour
Location: N.W Washington D.C Monday-Friday
Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Member Service Representative to join our team. This role is essential to providing exceptional customer service while supporting the financial needs of our members. The Member Service Representative will also perform teller duties, including cash handling, account transactions, and basic financial services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service:
- Greet and assist members with inquiries, transactions, and financial needs in a friendly and professional manner.
- Address member concerns, resolve issues promptly, and provide information about products and services.
- Teller Duties:
- Process member transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and transfers.
- Handle cash accurately, balance the cash drawer daily, and adhere to established security protocols.
- Verify checks and ensure compliance with applicable policies and regulations.
- Account Management:
- Assist members in opening new accounts, updating account information, and maintaining account accuracy.
- Promote financial products and services that meet members needs, including savings accounts, credit cards, and loans.
- Administrative Tasks:
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and interactions.
- Assist with audits, reports, and other administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Cash handling experience preferred but not required; training provided.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with financial software are a plus.
