Job Description

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for greeting customers, scheduling appointments, answering phones and obtaining and verifying all customer information

  • Obtain current insurance information.
  • Photocopy driver's license and insurance cards.
  • Verify insurance coverage
  • Assist new customers in completing new customer information.
  • Enroll all new customers in computer accurately and completely.
  • Enter updated customer information in the computer as needed.
  • Enter change and payment information in the computer as needed.
  • Smile and greet customers upon arrival.
  • Knowledge of insurance requirements.
  • Schedule appointments.
  • Answer incoming telephone calls and handle promptly.
  • Handle correspondence related to customers (i.e.; medical records, insurance company, any requests, etc.) appropriately.
  • Have thorough knowledge and understanding on DME/HME products and services and is able to inform and/or instruct current or potential customers on services and product uses.
  • Maintain customer confidentiality.
  • Must be able to handle stressful situations professionally and maintain composure at all times.
Position Qualifications
  • Minimum Education: High school diploma or the equivalent.
