The Customer Service Representative is responsible for greeting customers, scheduling appointments, answering phones and obtaining and verifying all customer information
- Obtain current insurance information.
- Photocopy driver's license and insurance cards.
- Verify insurance coverage
- Assist new customers in completing new customer information.
- Enroll all new customers in computer accurately and completely.
- Enter updated customer information in the computer as needed.
- Enter change and payment information in the computer as needed.
- Smile and greet customers upon arrival.
- Knowledge of insurance requirements.
- Schedule appointments.
- Answer incoming telephone calls and handle promptly.
- Handle correspondence related to customers (i.e.; medical records, insurance company, any requests, etc.) appropriately.
- Have thorough knowledge and understanding on DME/HME products and services and is able to inform and/or instruct current or potential customers on services and product uses.
- Maintain customer confidentiality.
- Must be able to handle stressful situations professionally and maintain composure at all times.
Position Qualifications - Minimum Education: High school diploma or the equivalent.
