Job Summary
Introduction
Getty's Human Resources team is a group of professionals that assist business units in meeting their human resources needs, including recruitment, benefits, compensation, training, employee relations, and performance management coaching. Our goal is to provide quality HR services that support staff and managers and help attract, develop, motivate, and retain a diverse workforce within a welcoming work environment.
As representatives of Human Resources, the team develops effective working relationships with colleagues across Getty. Thoughtfulness, discretion, professionalism, and sound judgment are required.
Getty is undertaking a major business systems selection and conversion, including HR, Payroll, and Financial systems. Staff in these areas are expected to engage in and support the integration and implementation as needed.
Getty has a strong commitment to balancing work and personal life and supporting professional development. After a successful introductory period, this role will be hybrid/partially remote.
Opportunity
We are currently seeking an HR Coordinator who will work in partnership with one or more HR Specialists as business partners with Getty's programs and departments. This position provides efficient assistance to help facilitate all HR functions and administer policies. They collaborate fully with HR colleagues to provide counsel and information that support Getty's employees in a consistent manner.

Major Job Responsibilities
Applies knowledge of human resources to a variety of assignments of moderate complexity. - Builds knowledge around various Getty HR functional areas in order to provide support and be responsive to employee inquiries.
- Participates in meetings with respective business units, as requested.
- Performs HRIS data management including accurate data entry, initiating employment transactions and running reports.
- Responds to employee questions related to established Getty policies and procedures and assists employees as needed.
- Assists with recruitment process by managing applicant tracking system, sharing applicant information with business units, and responding to questions. May assist further by conducting initial review and screening of applicants.
- Manages new-hire process and paperwork, including conducting background screens, distribution of offer letters, communicating with new hire, providing and collecting necessary information/documents, etc.
- Works as part of HR Coordinator team to organize onboarding and exit processes and lead new employee orientations.
- Partners with others to manage leaves of absence, including follow-up, appropriate correspondence, tracking leaves, and maintaining files, as appropriate.
- Maintains human resources related files, including employment and recruitment files, following document retention requirements.
- Ensures all regulatory requirements are met with respect to areas of responsibility.
- Stays current on changes relevant to the HR field and role.
- Contributes to the overall success of the department by providing constructive and timely feedback on policies, procedures, and processes.
- Works in partnership with colleagues on special projects, as requested.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum 4-5 years human resources experience
- Solid knowledge of Human Resources processes and best practices

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency with office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), email applications and human resources management systems, such as PeopleSoft, applicant tracking and performance management systems
