Volt is immediately hiring an CNC Programmer for a leading manufacturing company in Otay Mesa As a CNC Programmer you will: Study drawings and blueprints of components to be manufactured Determine required machines for process and plan order of work Use CAD/CAM software to program production machines Ensure tasks align with customer specifications Write, develop, and edit CNC programs for continuous improvements. Create instructions for machinists. Calculate where materials should be cut. Communicate with operators using the programs. Run simulations or tests to check completed programs. Prepare geometric layouts using proper software. Select necessary cutting tools. Analyze job orders and perform calculations. Write and modify programs for increased efficiency. Simplify tooling time and increase productivity.
