Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy custom Canvas Apps with rich user interfaces, leveraging components, formulas, and data connections.
  • Develop and deploy Model-driven Apps utilizing entities, forms, views, and business rules for complex business processes.
  • Develop and implement robust and scalable Power Automate workflows, including:
  • Data Integration using Power Query, including:
  • Extracting data from various sources (e.g., databases, files, APIs).
  • Transforming and cleaning data using data transformation functions.
  • Loading data into target systems (e.g., SharePoint lists, Dataverse tables).
  • Implement custom connectors for integrating with third-party applications and APIs.
  • Object Detection for identifying objects in images.
  • Troubleshoot and debug application issues using debugging tools and error handling techniques.
  • Monitor and optimize Power Platform solutions for performance and efficiency.
  • Adhere to best practices for development, including:
  • Data security and privacy considerations.
  • Version control and branching strategies.
  • Clean code and maintainability.
  • Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including:
  • Requirements gathering and analysis.
  • Solution design and architecture.
  • Testing and quality assurance.
  • Deployment and release management.
  • Stay current with the latest advancements in Power Platform technologies and best practices.


Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of proven experience as a Power Platform Developer with a strong focus on Power Apps and Power Automate.
  • Deep understanding of Power Apps development concepts, including:
  • Canvas App development (formulas, variables, controls, delegates).
  • Model-driven App development (entities, relationships, forms, views, business rules).
  • Data integration with various sources (SharePoint, Excel, SQL Server, APIs).
  • Expertise in developing and implementing Power Automate workflows, including Trigger conditions, actions, and conditions.
  • Data operations and transformations.
  • Control flow (loops, conditions, switches).
  • Error handling and exception management.
  • Experience with data integration techniques using:
  • Power Query (transformations, data sources, data types).
  • APIs (REST, SOAP) and web services.
  • Data connectors (SharePoint, Dynamics 365, SQL Server).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to:
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Analyze data and identify trends.
  • Optimize application performance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to:
  • Collaborate effectively with business users and stakeholders.
  • Communicate technical concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Document solutions effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in an agile environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) is a plus.
  • Microsoft Power Platform Certifications (e.g., Power Apps + Power Automate Developer Associate, Power Platform Solution Architect Expert) are highly preferred
