Job Description:

This position will report directly to the Senior Supervisor, Materials Management and will be responsible for liaising with all departments, as well as other stakeholder groups, to evaluate, prioritize and execute all Materials Management requirements. This role will require skills in Inventory Management, Sourcing and Communication.


Inventory Management

  • Ensure parts and equipment required by stakeholders are stocked and replenished accordingly.
  • All material movements are documented and transacted within the existing inventory management program.
  • Securely control inbound and outbound flow of traffic at WaterBridge’s inventory locations in order to achieve tracked material movements while also promoting safety.
  • Conduct spot counts, cycle counts, quarterly and year-end inventory counts, inventory discrepancy reconciliations, item labeling, item organization and material movement record keeping.

Sourcing –

  • Source stakeholder’s material needs from local vendors and other WaterBridge inventory locations as needed.
  • Work with P2P team to initiate Purchase Order creation.
  • Execute replenishment orders according to existing contracts with preferred suppliers


Communication –

  • Regular communication with stakeholders regarding material needs.
  • Ability to communicate via email, phone, text etc.
  • Ability to clearly communicate with vendors regarding material specifications.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED required; Associates or Bachelor’s degree beneficial.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in Inventory Management; Oil & Gas preferred.
  • Ability to utilize relevant computer software for 8-10 hours/daily.
  • Must be proficient in utilizing Excel, MS Office, and Word.
  • Strong organizational skills and customer service experience is desired.
  • Able to complete tasks in a team atmosphere or alone with little to no supervision.
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
  • Ability to analyze information, situations, problems, policies and procedures to formulate logical and effective decisions or solve problems; Communication with management is a must.
