We're looking for a dynamic Vendor Management Systems (VMS) Account Manager to join our team! In this exciting role, you'll have the opportunity to support our national accounts, with a key focus on managing vendor relationships and working with Managed Service Providers (MSPs). You'll collaborate closely with strategically targeted accounts to ensure exceptional client satisfaction while driving growth and success. Your expertise will be crucial in building lasting relationships and enhancing the overall service experience, making a meaningful impact on our clients' success.

- Acts as the primary account manager between Jackson and Coker and Managed Service Providers (MSPs), advocating for MSP clients and ensuring internal teams are aligned with client needs.
- Enhances the overall experience for internal teams and MSP clients through effective communication and collaboration.
- Maintains strong relationships with company associates and management to ensure smooth coordination and communication.
- Submits physician and Advanced Practice Provider (APP) profiles for name clearance and timely presentation to facilitate provider procurement and consideration for open positions, ensuring all requirements are met.
- Confirms provider availability and collaborates with MSPs to build schedules based on confirmed dates.
- Proactively communicates with MSPs to identify new needs, grow accounts, secure extensions, and gather insights for future pipeline needs.
- Opens client orders in the internal CMS, ensuring accurate contract details and job descriptions that align with MSP requirements.
- Ensures contract compliance and provides insight into MSP processes and requirements.
- Communicates client needs to recruiters and markets open orders to expand the provider pool.
- Negotiates rates within company guidelines, understanding Jackson and Coker’s specialties and corresponding rates across U.S. territories.
- Builds and maintains positive relationships with key MSP managers and clients, conducting regular relationship-building calls.
- Gathers customer feedback to improve services and acts as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for various internal departments (PVL, Accounting, Service Coordinator, Training, Marketing, Sales, CMS).
- Serves as the escalation point from provider introduction to payment, handling issues related to privileging, licensing, rates, dates, travel, confirmations, and timesheets.
- Meets regularly with internal teams to provide updates on provider status and performance.
- Keeps management informed of activities, changes in competitive conditions, and significant obstacles.
- Completes required reports and records accurately and promptly.

Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in account management or a related field
- Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment
- Ability to work collaboratively, communicate clearly, and interact with all levels of the organization
- Honest and responsible with work output and hours
- Strong sales, interpersonal, and public relations skills
- Excellent phone, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in preparing correspondence, proposals, contracts, price quotes, and bids
- Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and database entry
- Basic understanding of healthcare recruiting processes and strategies
- Business acumen and ability to manage and coordinate projects
- Industry or locum tenens sales experience preferred, but not required
