Position Summary:

About the Role:
As a Clinical Research Coordinator, you will play a vital role in the planning and execution of clinical research studies, ensuring adherence to established protocols, FDA regulations, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and internal guidelines.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Patient Management: Screening, enrolling, monitoring, and retaining research participants, ensuring their rights, safety, and welfare. This includes obtaining informed consent and providing clear explanations of study procedures.
- Data Management : Accurate and timely documentation of study activities, including completion of Case Report Forms (CRFs) and electronic data capture (EDC). You will be responsible for maintaining meticulous records and ensuring data integrity.
- Protocol Adherence: Implementing study protocols, coordinating procedures, and monitoring patient response to treatment. This includes identifying and reporting adverse events and protocol deviations.
- Collaboration: Working closely with Principal Investigators, research staff, sponsors, and other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth study execution.
- Regulatory Compliance: Maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines, including participation in audits.
- Direct Patient Care: Performing tasks such as vital signs monitoring, EKGs, and phlebotomy as needed for specific studies.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in a related discipline and two years of experience as a Clinical Research Coordinator (or equivalent), preferably in an oncology setting .
- Washington State certification as a Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist within 90 days of hire (Licensed Practical Nurse or RN license may be substituted).
- CCRC certification is preferred.
- Current healthcare provider BLS certification.
- Knowledge of the US healthcare system will be a plus in this position
- Strong understanding of FDA regulations, GCP, and ICH guidelines.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in electronic data capture (EDC) systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
HARD Requirements:
- Associates degree in a related disciple
- At least 2 years of experience as a Clinical Research Coordinator, preferably in an oncology setting.
Certifications:
- Washington State certification as a Medical Assistant- Phlebotomist within 90 days of hire (Licensed Practical Nurse or RN license may be substituted).
- CCRC certification is preferred + current BLS certification
