Analyzer Technologist

Scope of Work

• Maintain lab safety, housekeeping, and security.
• Understand liquid and gas sampling systems.
• Perform routine maintenance of online and offline analyzers and sample valves.
• Troubleshoot, identify, isolate, and repair gas sampling systems, sample valves, and other components of analytical equipment.
• Prepare liquid calibration standards. Perform calibration, SQC for data accuracy to ensure proper compliance with guidelines.
• Maintain DIAMS requirements relating to data generation.
• Detailed record keeping and update P&IDs drawings as necessary.
• Good skills in safe handling of many types of hydrocarbons.
• Upkeep inventory.
• Job requirements/Skills Knowledge of Lab analyzers, including Agilent GC and GC MassSpec.
• Knowledge of Process analyzers, including Valmet Maxxum II GC, Oxymat 6, Thermo Mass Spec, Extrel Mass Spec.
• Effective oral and written communications.
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision while following safe work practices at all the time.
• Able to work with others in a team environment.
