The White Barn - Edna Valley is an authentic wedding and special events venue in the heart of Edna Valley, San Luis Obispo. Surrounded by the Santa Lucia Mountains, the large rustic dairy barn has been transformed into a magical event venue, with the original old, weathered redwood paneling on the barn creating the perfect bucolic backdrop for your event. Our venue is accompanied by the newly remodeled Farm House and Dairy House, surrounded by the Central Coast and San Luis Obispo areas. Wine country, beaches, gourmet restaurants, and shopping all await you and are only a short distance from our establishment.
Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role for an Event Manager. The Event Manager will oversee all The White Barn - Edna Valley events. This includes coordinating with vendors, managing timelines, overseeing setup and teardown, and interacting with event attendees.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Experience in event planning and management
- Knowledge of the San Luis Obispo event industry
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Customer service experience is a plus.
