CGS seeks a strategically creative Senior Art Director to join its growing global Marketing team in New York City. This is a phenomenal opportunity for a growth minded designer to work directly with the CMO on branding projects and to help scale the size and capabilities of the global creative team that operates as a shared service for the company, across all business lines and geographies.
This is a roll-up your sleeves role which will involve hands-on design work including website assets, advertising, marketing collateral, thought leadership content, and events. You should be digitally savvy and well-versed in design work for marketing automation systems like Marketo. You should also have excellent organizational skills and bring a systems mindset to the application of new brand guidelines for CGS’ various businesses. This is a work on the engine while in-flight role. You will be responsible for delivering business driving creative assets in the immediate term while working with the CMO on CGS’ brands long-term.

Your Educational and Professional Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Visual Arts or Social Sciences)
- 10+ years working in creative services industry/function. Experience working in an agency or in-house team environment, with various procedures and communicating well with clients and teammates.
- Expert in Adobe Creative Suite specifically Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Familiarity or proficient with programs like After Effects for motion graphics and video editing a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft office; expert in PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with newer design tools like Sketch and Figma for UI/UX design
- Basic coding knowledge like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
