We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MRO Sourcing Specialist to join our clients dynamic team in Houston TX. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sourcing for Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO), with a deep understanding of contract management and extensive experience with SAP.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for MRO categories to ensure cost-effective procurement.
• Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with company policies and standards.
• Conduct market analysis to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their MRO needs and provide sourcing solutions.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to MRO sourcing activities.
• Utilize SAP for procurement processes, including purchase orders, invoicing, and supplier management.
• Ensure timely delivery of MRO supplies and services to support maintenance and operational activities.
• Continuously seek opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in MRO sourcing and procurement.
• Strong knowledge of contract management and negotiation techniques.
• Proficiency in SAP and other procurement software.
• Ideal experience preference is from a manufacturing background

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., CPSM, CSCP).
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
