The firm represents employees in legal actions against private corporations that violate labor laws. Position Overview

We are seeking an Employment Litigation Attorney with a passion for social justice and litigation. This role offers hands-on experience in court appearances, depositions, discovery, law and motion practice, and trial preparation. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, writing, and research skills, along with the ability to multitask effectively in a team-oriented setting. The firm values attorneys who take initiative in advancing cases and are dedicated to providing exceptional legal representation.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct legal research and draft substantive motions
  • Argue motions before the Superior Court and attend court appearances
  • Take and defend depositions
  • Manage cases from intake through trial preparation
  • Work collaboratively with a team to advocate for clients' rights



Qualifications

  • J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
  • Admission to the California State Bar (or pending admission)
  • Experience with legal research, motion drafting, and litigation strategy
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines
  • A demonstrated commitment to workers' rights and diversity in the legal profession
  • Bilingual skills (Spanish) are a plus but not required



Compensation & Benefits

  • Annual salary: $110,000 – $140,000+ (commensurate with experience)
