VP, CONNECTIONS PLANNING

Havas Media Group North America, the Media Experience agency, is looking for a VP to join the Connections Planning Team, part of our global community of 10,000 team members who are focused on using Meaningful Media to make a meaningful difference to brands, businesses, and people.

The VP Connections Planning will work closely with Client Leadership, Strategic Communication Planning, Investments and Analytics teams to ensure Tactical Media Planning outputs deliver against client objectives. The VP is responsible for overseeing the Connections Planning team who manages the day-to-day tactical media planning activities and also drives collaboration among internal teams. VP is continually striving to seek innovative ways to find planning solutions for clients.


A DAY IN THE LIFE MIGHT LOOK LIKE:

  • Lead the evolution and development of communications strategy and media planning approach.
  • Advance thinking and innovation in the connections planning space and set challenging group goals while balancing client, company, and team needs.
  • Manage all strategic channel planning activities, working with agency account teams to accelerate and deepen understanding of consumer behavior, cultural trends, and marketplace conditions.
  • Active participation in new business pitches, including personas, insights, strategy, consumer journey, and innovative go-to-market solutions.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED/SKILLS:

  • At least 8-10 years of combined experience in either an agency or marketing department.
  • Agility and flexibility to manage multiple projects at one time.
  • Demonstrates ability to manage change and lead team.
  • Can inspire others to achieve best results, great motivator.
  • Drives development of team members and gives good constructive and on-going feedback.
  • Astute attention to detail.
  • Client Acumen.
  • Skilled at managing clients and setting clear goals / expectations.
  • Flexible to work with different personalities within the organization.
  • Offers valuable perspective and meaningful insight.
  • Proven ability to identify clients needs.
  • Deals well with ambiguity.

  • Detail oriented
  • Must have Pharma experience, HCP preferred
  • Being open, flexible, adaptable
  • Problem solver, comfortable working across a wide range of partners and deliverables
  • Self-motivated, with ability to multi-task and prioritize under tight deadlines
  • High responsive and organized while also being strategically minded
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities; ability to mentor junior team members
