About the position

We are a fast-growing and client-focused plaintiff’s personal injury law firm in Los Angeles, dedicated to fighting for the rights of injury victims. Our team is passionate about providing top-tier legal services, and we are seeking a Legal Intake Specialist to be the first point of contact for potential clients.

Position Overview

As a Legal Intake Specialist , you will play a crucial role in assessing and qualifying new client leads. Your ability to handle high-volume inbound and outbound inquiries with professionalism and efficiency will directly impact our firm’s success. Experience in plaintiff’s personal injury law and familiarity with Lead Docket (or similar CRM/intake software) is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Intake & Screening: Answer and evaluate inbound calls, web inquiries, and referrals to determine case eligibility.
  • Outbound Calls: Follow up with potential clients who have inquired about legal representation.
  • Lead Management: Efficiently input and track potential cases in Lead Docket or other CRM systems.
  • Follow-Up & Conversion: Conduct timely follow-ups with potential clients to secure signed retainer agreements.
  • Document Collection: Assist clients in gathering necessary documents to expedite case review.
  • Communication & Coordination: Work closely with attorneys and case managers to ensure smooth transitions from intake to case management.
  • Compliance & Confidentiality: Maintain strict confidentiality of client information and adhere to legal and ethical guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of legal intake or customer service experience, preferably in plaintiff’s personal injury law .
  • Tech-Savvy: Experience with Lead Docket or other legal intake/CRM platforms is a plus.
  • Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written skills, with the ability to handle sensitive conversations with empathy.
  • Detail-Oriented & Organized: Ability to manage multiple leads simultaneously while ensuring accuracy in data entry.
