Job Description

Title: BIM Modeler/ Designer

Location: Irvine, CA

  • must willing to work fully onsite to start!

Contract: 6 month to hire

Pay: $ 22-30/hr- based on experience


Must Haves

Associates Degree or higher in Drafting/Design is preferred (experience can be substituted for degree).

• 2-5 or more years of relevant experience and working knowledge of structural/ electrical/ mechanical engineering principles, practices, and methods.

• 2+ years of experience with Autodesk products (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.) also preferred.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, committed to project schedules and deadlines, able to work within a team environment, be responsible for their tasks, and be assertive in their communications to clearly understand what is required on tasks.


Nice to Have

• Experience using U.S. Army Corps of Engineers CAD Standards is a plus.

• 2+ years of experience with Bentley products (MicroStation). Be willing to learn other Bentley Software as required for Projects.


Our client is looking for a BIM Modeler/Designer to join their Design team located in Bellevue, Seattle, Portland, Irvine or Atlanta. This is an onsite role to start but there is flexibility to work a hybrid schedule after conversion. The daily responsibilities for this are listed below:


• Proactively engage with design engineers to ensure timely project completion within allocated budgets. May include occasional overtime work.

• Effectively produce CAD drawings using Bentley Connect Series and AutoDesk Software.

• Analyze complex sketches, notes and other input to determine and plan the best approach to develop and complete drawings with minimal supervision.

• Communicate effectively with Engineers, CAD Team members, and the CAD Manager.

• Utilize CAD best practices and QA/QC procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency of their work.

• Adhere to and understand Project & Company Standards.
