The Finance and Operations Manager at Third Road Management will oversee the critical functions of finance, IT, operations, and HR for the firm. This role requires a dynamic hands-on leader who possesses strong analytical and technical skills, and has a passion for driving efficiency and innovation. The Manager will play a key role in creating and maintaining operational excellence, ensuring security and compliance, and fostering a collaborative workplace culture.

Responsibilities Include:
Operations:
- Develop, document, implement, and monitor internal policies to maintain operational excellence.
- Analyze data to identify trends and drive decision-making.
- Collaborate with leadership to streamline processes and improve overall operational performance.
- Create and maintain workflows and implement technology solutions to maximize efficiency and consistency.
- Oversee capacity management and demand planning processes.
HR:
- Manage HR functions, including employee onboarding and benefit administration.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Manage internal communications and employee portal.
- Foster a positive workplace culture and support professional development initiatives.
- Implement and maintain employee development and training tools.
Finance:
- Prepare monthly financial packages, identifying trends and providing actionable insights.
- Prepare and maintain annual budget and rolling forecasts.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting.
- Create, document, and monitor adherence to financial policies and internal controls.
IT and Cybersecurity:
- Manage IT infrastructure, including user access, system integrations, and software utilization.
- Oversee cybersecurity initiatives to ensure data security and compliance.
- Leverage Microsoft Office Suite, including Dynamics CRM, Teams, Excel, and Power Tools, to optimize workflows and data management.
- Implement and maintain technology solutions to enhance operations and efficiency.
Qualifications for this Role:
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience managing finance, HR, IT, or operations, ideally with a blend of all.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and deep knowledge of the MS Office Suite.
- Experience managing cybersecurity and data security protocols.
- Proven ability to create, document, and enforce internal policies.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in financial analysis and trend identification.
- Familiarity with employee benefit plans and general HR functions.
- Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
