Required Skills & Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or accounting

- 1+ years of relevant work experience in finance, preferably in investment banking or private equity, within the Oil and Gas industry

- Experience running complex analysis, including financial modeling, valuation analysis, etc.

- Strong Microsoft Excel modeling, analytical, valuation, and problem-solving skills.

- Highly motivated, strong multi-tasking skills, attentive to detail, and takes initiative

- Excellent team player, ability to excel in a rigorous and fast-paced work environment.

- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; able to present complex information to stakeholders

- Proficient in using and applying Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Financial Analyst in Houston, Tx. This position will be responsible for analyzing and appraising investment opportunities, executing capital market transactions, evaluating commercial opportunities, and supporting investor relations. Day to day includes conducting financial analysis, valuation, and M&A modeling, including scenario analysis of critical assumptions. Along with assisting in executing financing transactions, managing lender and partner compliance, and developing quarterly earnings reports and presentations. This includes business analysis, budgeting, forecasting, contract negotiation support, and industry and competitive analysis. Additionally, handling financial reporting and forecasting for operations, development, and capital investments, conduct investment research and due diligence, and draft written memoranda for internal and external use.
