Quality Electric is the largest electrical contractor in Idaho, specializing in various sectors in the construction field such as Commercial, Industrial, Technology, and more. Additional services provided include BIM, Design-Build, and Instrumentation and Controls.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Electrical Project Manager located in Boise, ID. The Electrical Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing electrical projects, managing budgets, coordinating electrical design, and working closely with project teams.

Qualifications

  • Electricity and Electrical Contracting skills
  • Experience in Budgeting for electrical projects
  • Knowledge of Electrical Design principles
  • Excellent project management and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Previous experience in the construction industry is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management is a plus

Duties:

  • Coordinate and manage all aspects of electrical projects
  • Read and interpret contracts, blueprints, BIM models, technical drawings, and specifications
  • Utilize project management software such as ProCore for project tracking
  • Ensure compliance with project schedules and deadlines
  • Create, and oversee project budgets, including cost control and forecasting
  • Collaborate with construction teams to ensure successful project execution
  • Implement project scheduling and resource allocation strategies
  • Monitor project progress and address any issues that arise promptly

Skills:

  • Proficiency in blueprint reading for electrical systems
  • Strong project coordination and management skills
  • Knowledge of construction management principles
  • Experience with project scheduling and coordination
  • Familiarity with electrical systems and installations
  • Ability to work with ConEst or similar estimating software
  • Understanding of contract requirements and negotiations
  • Knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) regulations
