Job Description:

Lead security efforts in pre-commercial medical device launches, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Focus on pre-commercial launch security strategies.
• Write rationales for security decisions and documentation.
• Participate in meetings to align with internal teams.
• Conduct software security reviews.
• Lead workshops on security practices.
• Maintain and update risk documents.

Requirements:

Must-Haves:

• Experience with pre-commercial product launches.
• Strong understanding of medical device security procedures.
• Knowledge of medical device compliance & regulatory frameworks (HIPAA, SOC2, FedRAMP, ISO 27001, 524B).
• Strong communication skills with the ability to move quickly and adapt.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience leading security workshops.
• Background in software security assessments.
• Familiarity with risk management frameworks.
