Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Ideal background will be FAANG level business + early stage start ups.

Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure
• Work with databases, caching, and containerized environments
• Ensure secure and reliable networking, including TLS and TCP/IP
• Optimize performance and security following best practices

Requirements:

• Strong experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Solid understanding of networking principles
• Proficiency in Python
• Experience with databases and caching
• Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing scalable, extensible infrastructure
• Familiarity with IAM, Access Control, and Infrastructure as Code tools (CloudFormation, Terraform)
• Knowledge of Pub/Sub messaging (SQS/SNS)
• Strong understanding of security best practices, including least privilege and secure system design
• Interest in distributed systems and scalability principles
