We’re looking for a passionate and experienced VP of Engineering to help shape the future of our full stack payment solution while leading our engineering efforts.

Role Overview : As the Vice President of Engineering, you will own the technical architecture and execution for our payments platforms. This role combines deep engineering expertise with strong product sense, requiring you to drive technical innovation, guide the engineering team, and collaborate with product and business stakeholders. You will play a pivotal role in scaling our platform and delivering exceptional experiences to our merchants.

Key Responsibilities :

• Technical Leadership : Lead the engineering team in designing, building, and maintaining a scalable, secure, and reliable payments platform.
• Technical Sales & Integrations : Lead and facilitate technical discussions and integration calls with clients, providing clear guidance and solutions to ensure successful onboarding and adoption.
• Payments/eCommerce Expertise : Leverage your deep understanding of payment systems, eCommerce, Credit Card, ACH, eChecks, and related technologies to develop and enhance our offerings.
• Product Collaboration : Work closely with product managers to align technical solutions with business goals, ensuring a seamless user experience.
• Management / Execution : Manage project timelines, backlogs, deliverables, and technical risks to ensure the timely delivery of features and enhancements. 
• Scalability & Security : Design systems that can scale with growth while ensuring top-tier security and compliance standards.
• Hands-On Development : Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code as needed to set the standard for the team.

Qualifications :

• Technical Expertise : 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on payments or fintech. Strong knowledge of payment systems, APIs, WooCommerce and related technologies.
• Engineering Leadership : Proven track record of leading engineering teams and delivering complex technical projects.
• Product Sense : Ability to understand user needs and translate them into technical solutions that drive business value.
• Self-Motivation : A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to take ownership and drive initiatives to completion.
• Technical Skills : Proficiency in modern programming languages (Python, JavaScript, Node.JS) and proficient in AWS.
• Problem-Solving : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on finding elegant solutions to complex challenges.
• Communication : Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Experience with payment processing and related compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with payment networks, fraud prevention tools, and risk assessment methodologies.
• Background in working with startups or high-growth environments.
