What You'll Do
As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer , you’ll play a critical role in designing, developing, and optimizing manufacturing processes for our components, subassemblies, and final assemblies. Acting as a liaison between Manufacturing Engineering and other departments such as Engineering and Quality, you will ensure our processes meet stringent design and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Define, standardize, and control technical processes for Manufacturing Engineers and CNC Programmers.
- Lead Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA) activities to ensure product reliability.
- Create CNC programs using CAM software and support the evaluation and startup of new capital equipment.
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Troubleshoot manufacturing challenges, both on and off the shop floor, and lead Root Cause and Corrective Measures (RCCM) initiatives.
- Drive continuous improvement projects using Lean Manufacturing methodologies like SMED and Kaizen.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to optimize manufacturability, production planning, and repair processes.
- Update ERP systems with accurate process routing and manufacturing data.
What You'll Bring
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field with 5+ years of experience (or equivalent education and experience).
- Expertise in designing machine fixtures and creating repeatable manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks) and CAM (Esprit) software.
- Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and technical drawing interpretation.
- Demonstrated success in implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
- High level of computer literacy with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
