Required Skills and Experience

- Bachelor's Degree Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or Manufacturing)

- 8+ Years experience with High Level Assembly and PCBA (Printed Circuit board Assembly) experience.

- 7+Design for Manufacturing experience

- 5+ years experience with equipment selection

- 4+ New Product Introduction experience for electronics

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for an electro-mechanical Process Development Engineer in St. Petersburg, FL. This person will be responsible for creating manufacturing processes for two small medical devices with electronics that are assembled into a sealed plastic case. Specifically heat-staking of plastics on an electronic, and creating process controls for an Adhesive Dispensing machine. This also includes, planning, material and equipment selection, creating the timeline, test strategy for manufacturing and some travel to Mexico as needed.
