Job Details

This is position offers rare opportunity to take the helm at a 180 seat 3 star NYT restaurant in the heart of Midtown Manhattan. The general manager will work closely with the Director of Operations and Ownership in the ongoing evolution and upward growth of this concept.

The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, service, and the overall curation of the guest experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:


-Ongoing curation of a talented and passionate team mates.

-Continued development and implementation of training systems and incentives.

-Provide an undeniable source of leadership and inspiration.

-Lead financial planning and budgeting efforts to achieve long term profitability.

-Leverage bar program and private event space to maximize revenue streams.

-Form relationships with regulars, local colleagues, and concierges.

-Monitor and optimize financial performance, identifying opportunities for cost control and revenue growth.

-Create strategies to manage reservations effectively and enhance overall revenue potential.

-Introduce systems and protocols to elevate guest experience and streamline operations.

Qualifications:

Leadership Experience: Minimum 5 years in hospitality management, with a proven track record of success in restaurant openings preferred.

Operational Expertise: Deep understanding of managing complex operations, including bar programs and private events.

Financial Acumen: Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.

Team Development: Demonstrated ability to hire, train, and develop high-performing teams.

Communication Skills: Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities.

Problem Solving: Creative and practical solutions for operational challenges.

Guest Experience: Strong commitment to delivering exceptional hospitality and service.

Adaptability: Thrives in dynamic and fast-paced environments, with the ability to prioritize and manage shifting demands.

Schedule Flexibility: Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Compensation Details:
Salary ($120,000.00 - $150,000.00 + Bonus relating to sales thresholds)
