Job Description
  • Performing thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories, conducting physical examinations, and interpreting diagnostic tests related to gastrointestinal health.
  • Diagnosing and treating a wide range of gastrointestinal disorders and conditions, such as inflammatory bowel disease, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), and liver disease.
  • Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans in collaboration with patients, focusing on symptom management, disease prevention, and health promotion.
  • Prescribing medications and monitoring their effectiveness, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Performing and interpreting diagnostic procedures and tests, including endoscopies and colonoscopies, to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.
  • Providing patient education on gastrointestinal health, including dietary modifications, lifestyle changes, and medication adherence.
  • Collaborating with gastroenterologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure comprehensive treatment.
