A health services network in New York City is currently seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) to join one of their treatment centers in Manhattan.
About the Opportunity:
- Assignment Length: 3+ months (possible extension
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 8am to 4pm or 9am to 5pm
Responsibilities:
- Conduct intake physicals and annual evaluations for clients
- Collect and document medical history, perform physical exams, and order/review lab tests
- Provide basic medical care, address client medical complaints, and refer to specialists as needed
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards for client treatment and documentation
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support client care
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of experience in Mental Health, Social Services, Substance Abuse and/or a related field
- Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician assistant (PA) license
- DEA certification
