We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Permanent Personal Injury Attorney to join our robust legal team. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with a strong background in personal injury law and litigation. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a high-volume case load, demonstrating superior skills in legal research, and preparing comprehensive legal documents. This role requires a minimum of 2+ years of experience in personal injury law and case management. Responsibilities:
1. Manage all phases of personal injury and wrongful death litigation cases, from investigation and pleadings through trial, settlement and appeal.
2. Conduct thorough legal research to support case preparation and strategy development.
3. Draft and prepare legal documents such as pleadings, briefs, motions, discovery requests and responses, settlement agreements, and trial documents.
4. Represent clients at pre-trial proceedings such as mediation and settlement conferences, as well as at trial.
5. Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients in an effort to resolve matters quickly and favorably.
6. Regularly communicate with clients, providing updates and advice on their cases.
7. Collaborate with legal support staff to ensure efficient and effective case management.
8. Stay updated with developments in personal injury law and related legal fields to ensure the provision of accurate and relevant advice to clients.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
3. A minimum of 2+ years of experience as a personal injury attorney.
4. Proven track record in personal injury law, including successful representation of plaintiffs in litigation.
5. Exceptional legal research skills and proficiency in using legal research tools.
6. Proficiency in drafting and preparing a wide range of legal documents.
7. Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of favorable settlements for clients.
8. Strong case management skills, with the ability to handle high-volume case loads efficiently and effectively.
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and work collaboratively with legal support staff.
10. Passionate about advocating for justice and the rights of personal injury victims.
