Description Western Wisconsin Health is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (0.2 FTE) to join the Ambulatory Services department. The Ambulatory Services Registered Nurse works under the direction of a licensed physician or nurse practitioner credentialed at Western Wisconsin Health. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional patient care in various areas of ambulatory services, including the INR clinic, Cardiac Rehab Services, Infusion department and Specialty Care Coordination. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, the Ambulatory Services Registered Nurse ensures efficient and effective patient care delivery, striving to achieve desired patient outcomes. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Conduct stress testing, stress echoes, and interpret EKG readings.
- Proficient IV skills
- Manage anticoagulation patients under the supervision of a pharmacist.
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients.
- Coordinate care plans for patients with chronic diseases.
- Conduct nurse assessments, procedures, and visits within the clinic setting.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare providers.
- Serve as a mentor and resource for clinic staff.
- Accurately and concisely document patient information in accordance with facility policies.
- Flexibly float to different areas as requested by the manager.
- Facilitate the orientation of new personnel and act as a preceptor when needed.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and healthcare standards.
- Demonstrate cultural competency and sensitivity when caring for patients of diverse backgrounds and age groups.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications - Graduate from an accredited school of nursing - associate degree in nursing, diploma from hospital-based school, or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Wisconsin RN license
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- 3+ years nursing experience
Preferred Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in nursing
- 3+ years ambulatory clinical nursing experience
- Experience in INR clinic, care coordination and IV/Infusion proficiency.
- Proven Competency of stress testing, stress echoes and advanced EKG course upon hire

Work Schedule: - .2 FTE - 16 hours per biweekly pay period
- 1 day per week, alternating Wednesdays and Thursdays 7:30am-4pm
