Summary
The Business Development Manager is responsible for growing the customer base, analyzing performance, and creating & executing sales and marketing strategies. This person has a passion for service and entrepreneurship and will lead the development and execution of the business development team with go-to-market activities supporting future growth. The Business Development Manager will identify sales and marketing opportunities and support campaign development to win target customers and expand existing accounts, improving PCSI's market reputation.
Essential Functions
- Develop and execute strategies to drive business and build new client relationships.
- Lead in the solution design and quoting of recommended technology to clients.
- Collaborate with the President and Operations Team on contract design and SOW implementation.
- Act as an escalation point within the Client Services Team for service issues.
- Lead and participate in annual sales/marketing strategy and efficiency improvement initiatives.
- Analyze key metrics and business health to initiate action plans for future optimization.
- Establish a continuous improvement approach to servicing clients.
- Coordinate and lead regular business reviews with clients.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a Business-related field of study a plus
- Completion of Sales related Certifications or Courses is a plus
- 5+ years of experience in a Sales or IT Service field
- Strong working knowledge of social media
- Demonstrated presentation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong follow-through and organization skills
- Access and ability to travel via car as required (estimated 40-50%)
