The Port of Longview is seeking a Business Development Professional to join our team!

TITLE: We are currently seeking to fill one position. The title will be dependent upon experience and qualifications. The potential titles are Manager of Business Development or Assistant Manager of Business Development.

POSITION:  Working closely with the Director of Business Development, this position will provide support in the development of new marine and domestic rail business with the goal of contributing significantly to the overall success of business development’s initiatives. This will be achieved through establishing and maintaining customer relationships, overseeing account activities and driving financial growth for current and future accounts.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION : This position generally requires a bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales, marketing, international trade or a related field and a minimum of five years of sales experience in the maritime or port industry, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A minimum of five years of progressive sales responsibility is required.

SALARY:

Assistant Manager of Business Development: $80,115 - $ 110,160

Manager of Business Development: $96,940 - $145,410

Beginning salary and title will be dependent upon qualifications and experience.
